Explaining the policy components for the green performance of Emdad economic complex companies with thematic analysis approach

Background and purpose: Green performance is a strategic approach in organizations to simultaneously achieve economic and environmental goals. Emdad economic complex companies as one of the key players in Iran's economy can play an important role in promoting green practices. This research seeks to explain the policy-making components for green performance in Emdad economic complex companies using thematic analysis approach.
Method: This research was conducted in terms of the applied purpose of qualitative type and using the method of content analysis and Max Kyuda software. The statistical population of this research includes managers of Emdad economic complex companies. In this research, the purposeful sampling method was used to select the sample and interviews were conducted with 8 managers until theoretical saturation was reached. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and coded and analyzed using thematic analysis method.
Findings and conclusions: Based on the results of the software, the components were classified into three general categories: driving factors, obstacles and challenges, strategies and measures. The findings of this research identified 7 policy components in 3 general categories to achieve green performance, which include stakeholder needs, innovation, reporting, social responsibility, organizational culture, cooperation and partnership. Barriers such as cost, measurement and evaluation were also identified.
