Presenting a Strategic Agility Model Focused on Innovation in Exporting Companies of Gilan Province

Exports are considered one of the key components of any country’s economic engine, and the volume of exports is regarded as one of the indicators of a nation's success. Many actors are involved in exports, but the most crucial role lies with exporting companies. Therefore, the aim of this research is to present a strategic agility model with a focus on innovation in exporting companies in Gilan Province. This research is qualitative and fundamental in nature. Additionally, based on the method of data collection, it is categorized as field research. The statistical population of this study consists of senior managers of exporting companies in Gilan Province. Theoretical sampling was employed in this research, and the sample size was 15 individuals, determined by theoretical saturation. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview, and qualitative data were analyzed using the grounded theory approach. According to the results obtained from open, axial, and selective coding, the variables of senior management capability and support, knowledge absorption capacity, entrepreneurial tendency, and human resource capabilities and skills were selected as causal conditions. Information technology capabilities, open innovation, organizational learning, and resource flexibility were identified as core phenomena. Finally, financial performance, non-financial performance, and competitive position were recognized as consequential factors in this research.
